Approach

Legends just get bigger.

Especially when they’re built to be carried onward by believers,
powered by the momentum of their own lore.

Results.

I care about a lot, approach-wise—more than I can put here. But when push comes to shove, it all comes down to results.

Results drive the approach. Do you need brand strategy, or can you get away with values? Should we gather target audience research?
SEO, yes or no? The answer is: whatever gives you the best long-term results.

Results are why I won’t recommend “extras” you don’t need. Results are why I won’t write your copy without some strategy.

Results are why the work I give you is never for really for you. It’s for them—the people who make your mission move.
It’s engineered for their perspectives, their emotions, their frameworks.

You have to put yourself in their shoes to feel why it works. It’s hard when you’re deep in it, but you can.

And if you can’t? Trust me—and the results.

Ethos

Pardon the yelling up there. Here’s how I max out results:

Speak to hearts.

You’ll never come across as salesy or egotistical when you talk about what your people love and crave.

Strategy before style.

Everything I do is reverse-engineered to work harder. How do you speak to hearts? Learn them through strategy.

Power to the people.

I work my way out of jobs. What’s better: me doing your content for life, or writing a fun guide so any staffer can?

“Only with the brand strategy can we move forward with effective marketing tactics. It’s an absolutely critical component and a constant compass as we tell our story.”

Clients

I work with legends in the making.

My clients occupy thoughtful, often overlapping niches.

Some bring people closer to nature, culture, place, or their better selves.
Most prioritize female and minority leadership. All do the right thing as part of their bottom line.

These kinds of clients need strategy most and thrive on it best.

My Work Style

Toiling behind the scenes like a secret weapon, I’m hellbent on crafting the best deliverable possible.
I’ll pop into view when my presence offers the most value.

You will love working with me if:

  • You trust my expertise, instincts, and outside perspective
to lead the process (and you like that I trust you on yours)

  • We establish one point of contact on your end
(who can manage additional interactions as needed)

  • We keep meetings and emails necessary, on-point,
    and high-impact

  • You stan a good third party professional proofreader
    (included in every project cost)

We will blow our budget/deadline if:

  • You like to edit and massage copy/ideas extensively
(I already do; there’s only room for one of us!)

  • I get direction from multiple contacts and must navigate differing agendas and requests

  • You need me to be part of open discussions, frequent meetings, regular on-site events, and long email chains

  • You don’t have the bandwidth on your end to responsively participate in the project (note: it’s minimal)

Part of a legendary posse.

I often roll with agencies and art directors—seasoned creatives I’ve known for over a decade.

Are you an agency, a fellow freelancer, or an in-house department? I’m open to new collaborations. In a team, I pull my weight, lean in meaningfully, and respect everyone’s time.

Are you a client who saw my name in an agency proposal? It’s legit! (Can’t wait to work with you.)

Yes, I work alone too. It just depends on what will get my clients (wait for it) results.
